Who Turned Out The Lights?

The workers in the Library caused a power failure today. The emergency lights were the only sources of light in the entire windowless 1st and 2nd floors. The outlets on the desks where we normally plug in our laptops didn’t function either, of course, so the 85% of us who take notes on our computers were screwed. The microphones that the professors use to be heard by students in the back of the large lecture halls wouldn’t work. Did I mention that the windowless rooms were lit only by the emergency lights and that the restrooms have *no* emergency lights? Can you imagine how it must have felt to be sitting on the toilet when the lights went out and didn’t come back on?

Lessons went on uninterrupted.
