Phone Etiquette

My professor just answered his cell phone in class. The mind boggles. As far as I’m concerned, he owes me $1.34 for that one minute of my time that he just wasted.

One of my teachers in Sweden did that--twice. Also, during a class at UW, a student asked the prof a question, he was responding when the student's phone rang and she answered it, and started talking. Ummm...

This stuff makes me consider adding a ban on cell phones to the list of edicts to be enacted when I take control of a small Latin American country.
