Weird Craving

Everyone who has ever been out to eat with me knows that I do not like french fries. If there are any reasonable substitutes, I will always go with one of them. Sweet potato fries are exempt from this general rule.

So why is it that I am totally jonesing a big salty plate of french fries with regular tomato ketchup (as opposed to the curry ketchup I usually prefer)?

I couldn't live without fries.

I've always sworn that a craving means your body needs something in that food...you should go for it. (this justifies my cravings for junk food--if I crave it, I obviously *need* it :) )

I am facinated by the fact that you don't like fries.

Yeah, I'm a freak of nature and totally unamerican (and un-belgian, too, apparently ;-) ), but there you have it: I don't like french fries. I actually don't particularly like potatoes in general, but my highest level of dislike is for french fries. (Or "chips", to you, War.)
